How to Build a Meditation Practice
We’re excited to announce our first meditation retreat/workshop on Saturday and Sunday, November 6th and 7th, “How to Build a Meditation Practice”. This retreat will be for all levels of practice; from novice to advanced.
We will spend time exploring the polarity of Doing and Non-Doing to develop a CONSISTENT daily meditation practice that is compelling, healing, loving, and satisfying – while setting the foundation for the practice to grow organically based on each individual’s unique needs.
We’ll explore the following topics via discussion, practice, and feedback:
What:
- How to arrive and show up for practice again, and again, and again; with an eager, open, joyful, and playful heart.
- Developing our meta-cognition to self diagnosis and assess the particular and unique “practice medicine” each of us requires.
- How to utilize the Doing of “alignment practices” (e.g., breathing, chanting, and visualization) to set the stage for an easy and enjoyable transition into the Meditation of Non Doing
- How to set up and stabilize the Non-Dual View of Dzogchen (Great Completeness)
